Eye make-up tips

Eye Shadow

Depending on the hues you wish to use, you can get a little colourful and creative with the wide selection of products for eyelids on the market. No longer do you have to sift through dozens of shades of eye shadow powder looking for the perfect blend now you can accessorize your eyes with a beautiful array of powders, creams and glittery dustings. Traditional eye shadow powders are very easy to use with small applicator brushes and foam pads. For a dimensional look, blend two colors of powder or one color of powder atop a cream shadow base.
With cream-based eye shadows, less really is more. The cream shadows generally come in small squeeze tubes that really enhance the look of your eyes with a light application across the lid, reaching up to your brows if you wish.
Not sure about colors? Go with something neutral, the first couple of times until you get the hang of it. Apply a light dusting of bronzer or other shimmery transparent color for a gentle hint of color.

Mascara

When selecting mascara, many factors come into play, with each brand’s newest addition to the line claiming bigger and better benefits. From thickening to lengthening to blackest black, waterproof and curling, each mascara product has a special offering of its own. Considering your own lashes, choose one that best suits your needs.
If you wish to avoid that scary-looking metal eyelash curler that appears more like an ancient torture devise, opt for a product that contains a curling formula. Choose the color you want to wear - black, brown or even navy blue. With so many options available, you can add a couple types of mascara to your collection and change your look as often as you like!
Generally, applying two coats of mascara will give enough definition to lashes to really make a difference. Allow the first coat to dry before applying the second in an effort to prevent clumping. If some of the mascara accidentally brushes onto your eyelids or underneath, simply use a q-tip to remove it. This may necessitate touching up your eye shadow a bit.

Eyeliner

To really define your eyes, apply a thin line of eyeliner in black or brown, khaki, plum or navy. To properly apply the eyeliner pencil or liquid liner, gently pull the corner of your eye outward, forming a straight line along your lashes. Starting at the inside corner and working toward the outside, delicately trace a line with the pencil angled toward your lashes.
Be careful how much eyeliner you apply, as a little really does go a long way. For a dramatic look, thicker and darker is very acceptable. For a subtle definition, stick with a lighter application.

Why is inner Beauty more important

I beleive than Inner beauty is more important than Outer beauty because Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

I believe that compassion, understanding, inner strength, forgiveness, humor, love...etc., are SO much more important looking Beautiful on the outside. Of course we can go in search of outter beauty but If we have that inner peace we can reflect beauty on the outside.

Is it ture to say " We are human beings , We need both. In face outer beauty doesn't last for a long time as inner beauty. But the first impression we have towards some one is due to his outer beauty … and then Inner beauty plays the major role in the permanent impression.."

I would suggest we seek both Inner beauty and outer because in my opinion as we look good we feel GREAT, and as we feel GREAT we look FANTASTIC!!!

Here are some quotes to ponder on........

What are Grandparents

The experience of being a grandparent is unique for everyone. Grandparents often speak of the joy of being with their grandchildren. At the same time, grandchildren appreciate the fact their grandparents love them no matter what. For some grandparents, seeing grandchildren may be difficult due to divorce, remarriage, or geographic distance. Whether you are a grandparent, step-grandparent, or a grandparent raising a grandchild, you are an important person in your grandchild’s life.

What children need most are the essentials that grandparents provide in abundance. They give unconditional love, kindness, patience, humor, comfort, lessons in life.

Everyone needs to have access both to grandparents and grandchildren in order to be a full human being. ~Margaret Mead

"What you focus on expands"

Focus on what you want

"What you focus on expands" . Another way to say this is "Energy flows where attention goes." Keep the energy of your life flowing towards what you really want:

Regardless if it is negative or positive. If you focus on negative then that is what you will recieve. Focus on the negative and life will get worse. If you focus on positive then that is what you will recieve. Focus on the positive and life will get better. This is not an overnight solution, this is a life solution. If you focus on the good you will see a difference within a month to a year. Do not dwell on the negativity of the past or your past events. Focus on what is good for you moving forward and focus on the good of the future that you can bring to yourself and others surrounding you.

Simple phrases that summarize the Law of Attraction:

What you focus on expands
You reap what you sow
Birds of a feather flock together
Whatever you want wants you
What comes around goes around

The Law of Attraction is bringing to us,
not the things we should like,
or the things we wish for, or the things someone else has,
but it brings us “our own,”
the things which we have created by our thought processes,
whether consciously or unconsciously.

If Like Attracts Like, Start Attracting What You Like!

Why not put this profound power to your advantage instead of unconsciously “living by default?” In this light, the Law of Attraction is about consciously and deliberately creating the condition of your life. It’s about attracting what you desire by changing yourself; changing yourself by changing your thinking.

The Universe is like a genie in a the lamp, tell the Universe what you want ( only once), believe you have it already and wait for it's manifestation.

Bridal Makeup Tips

Bridal Makeup Tips
Wedding Day is the most important day in the life of a woman and every young girl desires to look at her best on this blessed day in her life. Here are some tips to make you look gorgeous:
Use heavy-pigmented cream foundation and layer it with powder foundation
to make the skin look smoother.
Use powder foundation on neck, ears and chest too so that you don't seem to have a painted face.
Use a concealer shade similar to the foundation and blend both well.
Learn some camouflage makeup tricks and buy its products to use on your big day.
If you have combination skin, use water based foundation and a dry sponge.
Hide the under eye circles by applying concealer. Blend it towards the nose and use downward strokes.
For a perfect eye shape, use a small brush to blend a medium tone color from just below the brow arch downwards in a semi-circle motion.
Use light peach eye shadow as eyelid base.
Choose lip liner that blends easily with lipstick for that soft glossy look that looks good in photographs too.
Place the focus on the face either on eyes or on lip and underplay the other with neutral pink or brown shades.
Thin and small lips look more sensuous with light lip colors while fuller lips
can use deep shades.

Summer Time Make-Up

Time to toss your heavy foundations, intense lipsticks and matte powders! It's nearly summertime and that means you can go light handed on the makeup, so switch up your daily routine for a fresh new look.

• Choose light-textured foundation with SPF for your face and sheer, bright colours for your eyes and lips. Go for a velvety nude finish and dewy-looking skin for daytime.

• Warm colours, such as peaches and soft pinks, work better with tanned skin. Try a bold lipstick or lipgloss in a sheer texture to keep your look fresh. You can always kick it up a notch by accenting your eyes in aqua or pastel colours, such as green, blue, purple and yellow -- just be sure to apply and blend them properly.

• Skip heavy makeup; instead, it should be light and fluid in texture and accented with soft colours that look intense and bold when layered. Try a tinted moisturizer with SPF, and use loose powder to set makeup and make your skin look fresh.• If you're headed to the beach, pack sunscreen, waterproof mascara and a bold, brightly coloured lipgloss.

• For the office, use a primer, light foundation or tinted moisturizer with SPF. Wear a neutral lipstick or lipgloss and complement the look with intense mascara. Always keep blotting paper handy to minimize the shiny-face effect.

• For weekend getaways, pack a sheer foundation or concealer with SPF. (A creamy blush can also be used on your lips.) This is the perfect combination for a fresh, dewy look.

• If you're using a self-tanner, exfoliate and cleanse your skin before applying. Test a small amount on the inside of your arm to see how the colour will develop -- this will give you an idea of how much product you'll need. Ensure that your face and all exposed skin are the same tone and intensity. Instead of self-tanner, try a bronzing powder because it gives immediate results.
